The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials have identified assets belonging to Anjaneyulu, who was recently arrested in a bribery case and is currently on judicial remand. ACB teams conducted simultaneous searches at six locations, including his house and office in Hyderabad, and four other places linked to his relatives, associates, and benamis.
During these searches, ACB teams found documents for two 150-square-yard plots, one with an old house, located in Lingojiguda, Saroor Nagar. They also uncovered documents for a 240-square-yard house in CR Enclave, Mansoorabad, and an under-construction house in Perur village, Nalgonda.
Additionally, documents for two acres of agricultural land in Haliya, Miryalguda, were seized. The teams also recovered seven lakh rupees in cash, 60 tolas of gold ornaments, a Maruti Brezza car, and various household articles.
An ACB official stated that the official documentary value of the total assets is 2.28 crore rupees. The market value of these assets is estimated to be around 10 crore rupees.
According to ACB officials, Anjaneyulu acquired these assets through corrupt practices, accumulating wealth beyond his known sources of income. The verification of further assets is currently underway.
