A student was severely injured in an accident at Government Girls High School in Chandrayangutta. An iron rod fell from the second floor, striking a 15-year-old student and causing a severe head injury.
According to Hyderabad Mail, another student also sustained a leg injury in the incident. The accident has caused concern within the school premises.
Following the accident, the police registered a case under Section 125(a) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
The complaint was filed by Mohammed Anwar Khan, an auto driver from Balapur. His younger daughter, Nasreen Jahan Begum (15), is a student at Government Girls High School near Jumera Hotel, Malsaram, Barkas.
This incident raises concerns about student safety in schools. It highlights the need for adequate precautions to prevent similar accidents in the future.
