Nallapadu police have arrested an individual in connection with a case involving fake social media posts targeting Nara Lokesh, the Andhra Pradesh Minister for Education and IT from the Telugu Desam Party. The arrest occurred on Thursday in Hyderabad.
According to Andhrajyothy, Nallapadu police took the accused, Teerthala Naga Venkata Durga Rakesh, into custody in Hyderabad. The case was registered on October 8, 2026.
Following his arrest, Rakesh was transported to Guntur by the police. Further investigation into the case is currently underway.
