The Musi Riverfront Rejuvenation Project, a lifeline for Hyderabad city, has received crucial clearance from the Asian Development Bank (ADB). This project will allocate Rs 7345 crore for the first phase of works, set to transform the city's landscape.

The project will be executed under the aegis of the Musi Riverfront Development Corporation Limited (MRDCL). With ADB's approval, the necessary funds for project implementation will become available.

As part of this project, development works will be undertaken along the Musi River. This includes river cleaning, beautification, and the establishment of tourist attractions.

MRDCL has already invited tenders in two packages. Through these tenders, measures are being taken to accelerate the project works.

This project will not only bring a new charm to Hyderabad city but also play a crucial role in maintaining environmental balance. Its primary objective is to provide a pleasant environment for city residents.

The rejuvenation of the Musi River stands as a milestone for the development of Hyderabad, the capital of Telangana state. It will not only improve the living standards of city residents but also promote tourism.
