Allegations have emerged regarding irregularities in the food supply by the Devasthanam during the Giri Pradakshina in Visakhapatnam. Several departmental employees claim that Devasthanam officials did not provide them with food during their Giri Pradakshina last July.
According to a report published by Andhrajyothy, details concerning the supply of 83.83 lakh idli and tomato rice have caused a stir. Andhrajyothy states that this issue has created a commotion within the Devasthanam departmental circles.
It is alleged that Devasthanam funds were misused under the guise of supplying food to staff on duty during the Giri Pradakshina. Andhrajyothy reported that an official awarded the contract to 'Ruchi'.
Many employees question where the Devasthanam supplied food, as most staff received meals from external donors. These allegations raise doubts about transparency in the Devasthanam's administration.
These allegations underscore the importance of transparency and accountability in the administration of Devasthanams across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. There is a need for reliability in the services provided to devotees and employees.
