The Andhra Pradesh government is preparing to attract substantial investments ahead of the 31st CII Partnership Summit 2026, scheduled for November 12 and 13 in Visakhapatnam. A total of 115 memoranda of understanding (MoUs) are lined up, involving proposed investments of ₹79,628.04 crore and the potential to employ 1,88,038 people.
As part of the state government's efforts to draw investments across key sectors and generate employment, three regional conferences are planned. These will be held in Amaravati on October 16, Ananthapuramu on October 23, and Tirupati on October 26.
The government had previously issued orders for five regional conferences across the state in the run-up to the main summit. The initial two conferences, held in Visakhapatnam on October 7 and Kakinada on October 12, have already been successfully completed.
During these first two conferences, a total of 46 MoUs were signed. Details regarding these agreements have been made available on the Andhra Pradesh Economic Development Board (APEDB) website.
These significant investments are expected to provide a considerable boost to Andhra Pradesh's economy. By creating employment opportunities across various key sectors, these initiatives will directly benefit the people of the state.
