Industrial investments are rapidly increasing in Andhra Pradesh, with the state cabinet approving projects worth ₹14 lakh crore. Faster project approvals and robust industrial infrastructure are key drivers of this investment surge.

According to urbanacres.in, these claims were made at the CII Regional Summit held at the Indian Institute of Management in Gambhiram near Visakhapatnam.

Civil aviation minister Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu stated that Andhra Pradesh is emerging as an investment destination due to faster approvals, industry-friendly policies, and stable governance, as reported by urbanacres.in.

The minister noted that the state is utilizing the APIIC single-window mechanism to expedite project clearances. Project proposals are being processed and cleared within six to twelve months, according to urbanacres.in.

He also highlighted improved cooperation between the Centre and the state as a significant factor supporting industrial development.

This influx of investments could create new job opportunities for residents in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana and strengthen the regional economy, benefiting local businesses and infrastructure development.
