The India Meteorological Department (IMD) announced a forecast for light to moderate showers and isolated heavy rain across Andhra Pradesh until October 21. This weather pattern comes from an upper air cyclonic circulation.
The circulation is currently over the west-central Bay of Bengal and extends to adjoining southern Andhra Pradesh. This system will bring rainfall to various parts of the state.
Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema regions are likely to experience these weather conditions. Residents in these areas should prepare for the upcoming rainfall.
Specific districts such as Polavaram, Konaseema, West Godavari, Krishna, NTR, Guntur, Annamayya, and Chittoor are among those that will receive these showers. The IMD confirms the rainfall will persist until October 21.
