A weather system located in the southwest Arabian Sea is intensifying. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has warned that the deep depression, which moved eastward by this morning, is likely to become a cyclonic storm within the next 24 hours.
Weather experts predict that this system will initially move northeastward. Subsequently, it is expected to gradually shift northwestward towards the coast of Somalia.
The movements of this oceanic storm are being continuously tracked using INSAT-3DS satellite imagery. Officials from the weather department are closely monitoring its trajectory.
The IMD has clarified that despite the strengthening of this weather disturbance in the Arabian Sea, there is no threat to India. The department also stated that there would be no rainfall impact from this system.
