A Class VII student returning to Hyderabad from a school trip to Gujarat casually mentioned to a schoolmate that there was a bomb onboard, alerting the cabin crew.
The cabin crew immediately informed the captain, who then alerted ground authorities about a possible threat. Officials were put on high alert as the aircraft approached Hyderabad.
Upon landing at approximately 7:45 AM, the aircraft was moved to an isolation bay, and passengers were disembarked. A thorough check of the entire aircraft was conducted, but no explosive device was found.
Police officers stated that the girl was traveling with 45 other students and three teachers from a private school in Quthbullapur.
The cabin crew overheard the girl's remark about 10 minutes before the flight was scheduled to land. Following protocol, the aircraft was directed to an isolation bay after landing.
