BRS women leaders have announced that Bathukamma celebrations will be grandly organized across various districts of the state for nine days, starting from the 10th of this month. Namasthe Telangana reported that these celebrations aim to globalize the self-respect of Telangana women.
At Telangana Bhavan on Thursday, women leaders released the Bathukamma festival poster along with specially composed Bathukamma songs. On this occasion, they also played Bathukamma for some time.
The Bathukamma festival will officially commence with Engili Poolu at Telangana Bhavan on the 10th of this month. Following this, the celebrations will continue grandly in various districts for nine days.
According to Namasthe Telangana, BRS women leaders expressed their anger, stating that there is no encouragement for the Bathukamma festival under Revanth's administration. Consequently, these celebrations are being organized under the aegis of the BRS women's wing.
These festivities reflect the culture and traditions of Telangana. Women across the state will enthusiastically participate in this festival, showcasing their unity.
