The central government has sanctioned Rs. 55 crores for the development of the Aditya Temple located in Arasavalli, Srikakulam district. These funds have been allocated under the Swadeshi Darshan scheme, through which temple renovation works will be undertaken.
Union Minister Rammohan Naidu played a key role in sanctioning these funds. This project aims to provide better facilities for devotees visiting the temple.
According to an Andhrajyothy report, instructions have been issued to complete these development works within 16 months. Officials are continuously working to monitor the rapid progress of the works.
Shankar arrived at the temple on Thursday morning to witness the sun's rays touching the deity. Afterwards, he spoke in the Anivetti Mandapam of the temple.
This project will not only promote tourism in Srikakulam district but also boost the local economy. The temple's development will provide a more spiritual experience for devotees.
For devotees coming from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana regions, this temple is an important pilgrimage site. Once these development works are completed, devotees will have a more comfortable darshan.
