Minister for Labour and Mining, Gaddam Vivek Venkatswamy, laid the foundation stone for a modern shopping complex in Chennur Municipality, Mancherial district, on October 19, 2026. The government initiated this project to prioritize the economic development of local small traders.
The new modern shopping complex will be constructed at a cost of one crore rupees within the Chennur Municipality premises. The minister performed the ceremony during his visit to the municipality.
On this occasion, Minister Vivek addressed the officials. He instructed them to ensure that the construction work for the shopping complex adheres to quality standards.
The minister also directed the concerned officials to complete the construction work within the stipulated timeframe. He emphasized the importance of timely completion for the project.
Once operational, the complex will provide improved commercial facilities for local small traders. This will contribute to their economic development, the minister stated.
Minister Gaddam Vivek Venkatswamy clarified that the government undertook this project with the goal of developing small businesses.
