Chittoor district has been experiencing widespread rainfall for the past two days, leading to many dry tanks and ponds filling up with water.

The rains have brought much-needed relief to several areas in the district, as many water bodies that were parched since the beginning of the monsoon season are now full.

Currently, the Tattivaripalle tank and tanks in Madanapalle town are at full capacity. These rains are expected to recharge groundwater levels.

Due to the continuous rainfall over the past two days, several dry rivers and streams across the district are now flowing vigorously, bringing joy to local farmers.

The current weather conditions are favorable for agricultural activities. Farmers are preparing to commence cultivation in their fields.

District weather officials have indicated that more rainfall is likely in the coming days. Residents are advised to remain vigilant.
