Abhijeet Dipke, founder of the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), has been granted conditional bail by a Delhi court. The court has ordered his release after he signs a peace bond.

His legal counsel stated that Dipke was taken into custody for allegedly violating a peace bond he had provided on October 10. He was presented before the Special Executive Magistrate at Mandir Marg Police Station on Saturday.

Dipke was detained on Friday as he left his residence in Delhi’s Jhandewalan area. He intended to participate in the CJP’s planned “Lehra Do Tiranga” protest at Connaught Place, and his arrest followed on Saturday morning.

All India Students’ Association (AISA) national president Neha Bora was also arrested alongside Dipke on Friday. Both were taken into custody under preventive sections ahead of a scheduled rally in the national capital.

These arrests were made in connection with the planned ‘Lehra Do Tiranga’ rally. Dipke is now expected to be released once he fulfills the court's requirement of signing a peace bond.
