Cotton prices have fallen in Karimnagar, leading to significant disappointment among farmers. Prices have been on a downward trend since the new cotton season commenced.
According to an Andhrajyothy report, cotton prices have decreased by up to Rs. 1,100 in the last 15 days. This decline is severely impacting farmers' investments.
Despite the central government increasing the Minimum Support Price (MSP) for cotton this season, market prices have been falling.
Andhrajyothy also stated that mill purchases and quality issues are contributing factors to the price drop.
This decline in prices will negatively affect the financial stability of cotton farmers in Telangana, particularly in the Karimnagar region.
