According to a report by Namasthe Telangana, farmers are expressing distress as their fields are drying up due to insufficient water supply caused by power cuts. In areas like Gadwal, Yellareddypet, and Bhainsa Town, farmers are struggling immensely to protect their crops. In a desperate attempt to save their livelihoods, farmers are spending money to bring water through tankers to irrigate their fields. Namasthe Telangana reported this issue to be severe as of October 5, 2026.
