Travel from Hyderabad to various hometowns has increased since the start of the Dasara festival holidays. The closure of schools for the festive period has contributed to this rise in passenger movement.
The volume of travelers grew further from Saturday. Bus stations are now full of passengers heading to different parts of the state and to other states.
National highways are also experiencing heavy traffic. Many travelers are going to their native places in neighboring Andhra Pradesh, as well as to rural areas within Telangana.
Highways are crowded with buses, cars, and other vehicles. Hyderabad commuters, especially those traveling for Vijayadashami, have made bus stations and highways extremely busy.
