Andhra Pradesh DGP Harish Kumar Gupta has taken a significant decision to curb ganja and other drug smuggling. He announced the implementation of the Pit NDPS Act against smugglers. The DGP revealed that cases have already been registered against 225 ganja smugglers under this act. He clarified that these measures aim to completely eradicate drug trafficking in the state.
