Ranchi police have registered a case regarding allegations of a fraudulent offer for a nurse job in Dubai, where the victim was allegedly forced to work as a domestic helper. This action was taken based on a complaint from the victim's father, as reported by Namasthe Telangana.

According to Namasthe Telangana, a case has been registered against private consultancy agent Priyanka Arya, her husband Ritesh, and Meraj Ansari. Police are investigating the trio in connection with the alleged scam.

Priyanka Arya reportedly introduced herself to the victim, Monika Kachhap. Namasthe Telangana states that Priyanka promised Monika a nursing job in Dubai.

Namasthe Telangana reported that Ritesh made the victim sign some documents in Arabic and took a loan of Rs. 3.30 lakhs. She was informed that she would only be allowed to return to India after repaying this amount.

The alleged fraud came to light on October 3, 2026, when the victim's father filed a complaint with the Ranchi police, initiating an investigation into the incident.

Youth in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana should be cautious of such fraudulent job offers. It is crucial to thoroughly verify the credibility of consultancies when seeking employment opportunities abroad.
