The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has launched an investigation into the supply of adulterated ghee to Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD). As part of this probe, the ED arrested Kailash Chand Mangla, promoter of Sukriti Foods. The ED's investigation revealed that the company allegedly supplied palm oil and chemicals under the Agmark name to the deity, without using actual cow ghee. Officials also identified the involvement of Vipin Jain, director of Bhole Baba Dairy, in this adulteration scheme.
According to details from the ED's investigation, Sukriti Foods supplied ghee to TTD that did not contain cow ghee. Instead, it was a mixture of palm oil and other chemicals, marketed with the Agmark label. The ED is also focusing on the role of Vipin Jain, director of Bhole Baba Dairy, in this adulteration. Officials stated that Vipin Jain will also face legal action in connection with this case.
