Mumtaz, a resident of Tallamudi village in Eluru district, has established a home-based vermicelli production business. She initiated this venture with the aim of manufacturing the product locally rather than depending on external sources.
To fund her enterprise, Mumtaz secured a bank loan of Rs 2 lakh from Chaitanya Godavari Bank. With guidance from the bank manager in Eluru, she acquired the necessary vermicelli-making machinery.
Her vermicelli products are currently supplied to customers in Hyderabad. Additionally, her goods are reaching consumers residing in international locations such as Dubai, the United States, and Malaysia.
This business provides employment opportunities for at least seven individuals. Mumtaz's initiative contributes to the livelihoods of these local workers.
