Foreign liquor prices have seen a significant increase across Telangana. This hike has been implemented starting from October 12, according to an official circular.
The decision to raise prices means a full bottle will now cost between Rs. 30 and Rs. 100 more, depending on the brand. This will place a considerable burden on liquor consumers.
Officials have stated that the price increase averages around 6 percent. This hike applies to various brands of foreign liquor available in the state.
While this price adjustment is expected to generate additional revenue for the state government, it will undoubtedly create financial strain for consumers.
Given the high consumption of liquor in Telangana, this price increase will directly impact many residents across the state. The timing of this decision, especially with the festive season approaching, has become a point of discussion.
