Employees at Genpact's Hyderabad office have leveled serious allegations against a senior manager. These include concerns about long working hours, alleged gender discrimination, and the handling of health-related emergencies, according to The Times of India.
The allegations surfaced after employee Rohit Kotana shared a series of posts on LinkedIn, including a recording of an employee relations meeting that has since gained attention online, The Times of India reported.
The manager named in the allegations is Xavier Francis, as reported by The Times of India. Several current and former employees have reportedly raised concerns about the workplace environment at the company’s Hafeezpet office.
Another account describes a woman being questioned about her availability for work while her fiancé was in intensive care, The Times of India stated.
Genpact has confirmed that an independent internal review is underway, according to a report by Moneycontrol.
These allegations raise significant questions about the work environment and employee welfare within Hyderabad's IT sector, an issue relevant to many employees across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
