Gold and silver prices saw a decline in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana on October 2, 2026. Silver decreased by ₹5,000 per kilogram compared to the previous day.
According to Business Today, the price of silver in the city on October 2, 2026, was ₹2,52,900 per kilogram. A day earlier, on October 1, 2026, the rate stood at ₹2,57,900 per kilogram.
Business Today also reported that the price of 24-karat gold decreased by ₹180 per 10 grams, bringing the average price to ₹1,49,400.
Over the course of the month, market volatility pushed gold prices to a high of ₹1,59,590 and a low of ₹1,41,470, as per Business Today.
This decline in prices is significant for consumers in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, as it could impact purchasing decisions for jewelry and investments, especially with upcoming festive seasons.
