Governor Shivpratap Shukla highlighted that the nine-day Bathukamma festival, celebrated by women in Telangana, conveys a message of environmental preservation to the public. The festivities were held grandly in Amberpet.
Union Minister Kishan Reddy and Governor Shivpratap Shukla, along with their spouses, participated in these celebrations. MP K. Lakshman was also present at the event.
Given the current drought conditions, the Governor advised the public to conserve water and avoid wastage. He emphasized that this responsibility falls on everyone.
Governor Shivpratap Shukla stated that the core message of Bathukamma is environmental friendliness, speaking at the celebrations organized under the leadership of Kishan Reddy.
