Haier India is set to invest ₹7,000 crore in a new manufacturing facility in Andhra Pradesh. This marks one of the company's investments in India.
The Andhra Pradesh government has allocated 250 acres of land in Satyavedu mandal, Tirupati district, for the establishment of this plant.
The facility will produce a range of home appliances and consumer electronics, including air conditioners, washing machines, televisions, and small appliances like air purifiers and kitchen appliances.
This investment will facilitate Haier India's entry into the South Indian market, expanding its operational footprint.
Currently, Haier India operates manufacturing facilities in Pune, Maharashtra, and Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh.
The first phase of the new manufacturing facility in Andhra Pradesh is expected to become operational by 2028.
