Heavy rains lashed Madanapalle and Kurabalakota areas of Chittoor district on Monday evening. This sudden downpour brought normal life to a complete standstill.
According to Andhrajyothy, the sky became cloudy from 5 PM on Monday, and the weather cooled down abruptly, followed by the onset of heavy rain.
The accompanying thunder and lightning meant people could not venture out of their homes. Waterlogging on roads disrupted traffic and movement.
Andhrajyothy reported that moderate to heavy rain in the Madanapalle division caused concern. Due to this rain, electricity supply was interrupted, leading to darkness.
This unseasonal rain caused significant inconvenience to the residents of Madanapalle and Kurabalakota regions in Chittoor district. Power outages and traffic issues affected the local population.
