Officials have decided to prohibit the use of drinking water for building constructions in Hyderabad. Cyberabad Municipal Corporation Commissioner G. Srujana issued clear guidelines on water conservation on Friday. She directed town planning officials to issue notices to construction companies, ensuring they follow water conservation rules. This move is part of efforts to preserve water resources in the city.
Commissioner Srujana also advised officials to personally inspect the functioning of private sewage treatment plants. Greater Hyderabad Commissioner R.V. has also supported this decision. Officials stated that these measures are necessary to prevent the misuse of water.
