Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy on Friday inspected the arrangements for a record-setting Bathukamma celebration at Amberpet Municipal Ground in Hyderabad. The event will feature a 72-feet-tall Bathukamma, billed as India’s largest.

This monumental Bathukamma is being created with nearly 25 quintals of colourful flowers, making it a significant attraction for the upcoming festivities in Amberpet.

The organisers aim for this floral structure to set a new Guinness World Record, surpassing the existing 63.11-feet record that was also set in Hyderabad in 2025.

Reddy expressed confidence that the Bathukamma, with its impressive floral structure, would indeed set a new Guinness World Record, showcasing Telangana's rich cultural heritage to the world.

This grand Bathukamma celebration highlights the vibrant culture and traditions of the people of Telangana. It brings significant prominence to the state festival.
