Hyderabad's housing market has recorded its best performance in the first nine months of 2026 since 2018, according to a Knight Frank report. Developers launched 32,577 units during this period, which is 6 percent more than a year earlier, The Hans India reported.
The city recorded sales of 21,474 units. This constituted a market share of 15 percent of the overall 141,198 homes across eight cities in the price category of Rs 1 crore and above.
Residential sales across the eight key markets held steady at 258,238 units in the first nine months of 2026. This was broadly in line with the same period last year, The Hans India stated.
A total of 279,899 units were launched during the first nine months of 2026, registering a growth of 4 percent. In the third quarter of 2026, launches stood at 92,549 units, representing 4 percent higher year-over-year.
This underscores the sustained appetite for homeownership despite evolving market dynamics. It is a positive sign for homebuyers in Hyderabad.
For readers in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, this strong performance of the Hyderabad housing market indicates a positive trend for the regional economy and investment opportunities.
