Gold prices in Hyderabad did not change on Wednesday, October 21. The 22-carat rate stayed at ₹1,33,900 for 10 grams, and 24-carat gold cost ₹1,46,080 for the same weight.
By the gram, 24-carat gold was priced at ₹14,608, 22-carat at ₹13,390, and 18-carat at ₹10,956. For eight grams, 24-carat worked out to ₹1,16,864, 22-carat to ₹1,07,120, and 18-carat to ₹87,648.
Ten grams of 18-carat gold stood at ₹1,09,560. Buyers choosing between purities can use these per-gram and slab rates for jewellery or bullion.
Silver moved in the opposite direction. The price per kilogram fell by ₹10,000, bringing the rate to ₹2,30,000 on the day.
Jewellers, investors, and households tracking bullion in the city saw a flat day for gold and a lower quote for silver. The split between steady gold and cheaper silver affects both retail purchases and wholesale deals in Hyderabad.
The unchanged 22-carat and 24-carat ten-gram prices mean wedding-season and festival demand is being met at the same levels as the previous session. Silver buyers faced a ₹10,000 drop per kg compared with the earlier quote.
Hyderabad’s listed rates for October 21 cover 1 gram, 8 grams, and 10 grams across 24-carat, 22-carat, and 18-carat gold, with silver at ₹2,30,000 per kilogram after the day’s reduction.
One-gram quotes give the smallest unit on the board: ₹14,608 for 24-carat, ₹13,390 for 22-carat, and ₹10,956 for 18-carat. Shops and counters that sell by weight use the same figures for quick calculations on chains, coins, and small bars.
The eight-gram slabs sit between single-gram and ten-gram pricing. On October 21, 24-carat gold at eight grams was ₹1,16,864, 22-carat was ₹1,07,120, and 18-carat was ₹87,648, while ten-gram 18-carat gold remained at ₹1,09,560 alongside the steady 22-carat and 24-carat ten-gram rates.
Silver’s kilogram rate ended the session at ₹2,30,000 after the ₹10,000 cut, the only major move among the metals tracked for Hyderabad that day.
