Hyderabad's office leasing market has shown significant growth in the first nine months of 2026. A total of 13.1 million square feet of leasing was recorded during this period, marking a 50 percent increase compared to the same period last year.

This nine-month leasing volume has already surpassed the city's full-year volume for 2025 and every year since 2018, including the previous high of 12.8 million square feet recorded in 2019.

Hyderabad's share of office leasing across India's eight major markets has risen to 20 percent, up from 13 percent a year earlier.

The city recorded 5.9 million square feet of leasing in Q1 2026, its highest quarterly volume since 2018. This was followed by 1.7 million square feet in Q2 and 5.6 million square feet in Q3.

Q3 leasing alone saw a 92 percent year-on-year increase and accounted for 30 percent of transactions across the eight major markets during that quarter.

These figures clearly indicate a growing trend in business activities and investments in Hyderabad. This is a positive sign for the Telangana state economy and job creation.
