Hyderabad's office leasing market has experienced remarkable growth in 2026. From January to September this year, office transactions reached 13.1 million sq ft, marking a 50% increase compared to the previous year.

The leasing volume recorded in the first nine months of 2026 has already surpassed the full-year volumes for every year since 2018, including 2025. It also exceeded the previous high of 12.8 million sq ft recorded in 2019.

Hyderabad's share of office leasing across India's eight major markets has risen to 20%, up from 13% a year earlier, highlighting the city's growing prominence.

The city recorded 5.9 million sq ft of leasing in Q1 2026, its highest quarterly volume since 2018. This was followed by 1.7 million sq ft in Q2 and 5.6 million sq ft in Q3.

Q3 leasing alone saw a 92% year-on-year increase and accounted for 30% of all transactions across the eight major markets during that quarter.

These figures indicate a growing interest and investment in business expansion within Hyderabad. This is a positive sign for Telangana's economy, contributing to job creation and infrastructure development.
