Hyderabad City Police Commissioner VC Sajjanar has made significant remarks regarding the deepfake case involving Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor. He urged Jr NTR to take note of the alleged misuse of images by some of his fans in this matter.

According to The Times of India, Sajjanar tagged Jr NTR in his X post, asking him to address the alleged misuse of the image by some of his fans in the Janhvi Kapoor deepfake case.

Sajjanar reshared a post from an X account that claimed an arrest had been made in the case involving an objectionably morphed video of Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor from the song ‘Chuttamalle’ in the film ‘Devara’. However, he clarified that the image accompanying the post was not genuine.

The Commissioner explained that the image was AI-generated and not a genuine photograph. He wrote on October 8, urging people not to fall for such deepfakes or share them without verifying their authenticity.

The Commissioner also warned people against believing everything they see on social media, emphasizing the need for caution and verification.

This incident raises concerns about the authenticity of digital content and highlights the importance for readers in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh to verify information online.
