Hyderabad police have identified foreign nationals illegally residing in the city after their visas expired and engaging in anti-social activities. According to Disha daily, authorities are focusing on these illegal residents.

In response, the Special Branch, FRRO, and local police officials within the Hyderabad Police Commissionerate initiated a special drive starting August 31. The primary objective of this drive is to identify and take action against foreign nationals living illegally.

Police conducted extensive inspections in areas such as Tolichowki, Langar Houz, Mehdipatnam, Rajendranagar, Banjara Hills, Saifabad, and Gudimalkapur. Disha daily reported that these areas are known as hubs for illegal foreign residents.

During these inspections, foreign nationals found to be residing illegally are being identified, and legal action is being taken against them. Police stated that these measures are part of their efforts to maintain law and order in the city.

The presence of foreign nationals residing illegally and engaging in anti-social activities in a metropolitan city like Hyderabad poses a threat to the safety of local residents. This special drive aims to enhance security for the people of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
