The Hyderabad Traffic Police have initiated action against motorists using unauthorised sirens and multi-tone horns. During a special enforcement drive, 304 motorists were booked for these violations.
The drive focused on identifying two-wheelers and four-wheelers fitted with illegal sirens and multi-tone horns. Police released details of the action in a press note on Saturday.
According to the police, 182 violations were recorded for the use of unauthorised sirens. Additionally, 122 cases were booked for motorists using multi-tone horns.
This special drive was conducted to strengthen traffic regulations within Hyderabad city. Police urged all motorists to adhere to the established rules.
