Hyderabad police conducted a raid on an unlicensed warehouse in Chudi Bazar, Goshamahal, seizing a large quantity of firecrackers. The confiscated items are estimated to be worth around ₹20 lakh.
The operation was carried out by the Commissioner’s Task Force, Golconda Zone team, and Goshamahal police, acting on credible intelligence. Two individuals were apprehended during the raid.
Authorities recovered 569 cartons of firecrackers and various brands of toy guns. Among the seized stock were brands such as MV Corsair (Leopard King), Wonder Throw, Original Magic Colour Shots, Original Leopard King, and Original Colour Popups.
The warehouse, located at 14-9-139, Chudi Bazar, Goshamahal, Hyderabad, was found to be operating without the necessary permits. Storing firecrackers without a valid license is illegal.
