Residential property registrations in Hyderabad saw a 15% year-on-year decline in September 2026. A total of 5,620 properties were registered, compared to 6,612 in the same month last year.

The value of transactions also fell by 7% to Rs 4,487 crore. This is a decrease from the Rs 4,825 crore recorded in September of the previous year.

This slowdown in September occurred despite a marginal increase in registrations in the city’s housing market during the first nine months of the year. Between January and September 2026, 55,715 residential properties were registered.

This figure is slightly higher than the 55,505 registrations recorded in the corresponding period last year. However, the total transaction value increased by 4% to Rs 39,910 crore, indicating that higher-value homes continued to support the real estate market.

The September figures also showed a month-on-month decrease, with registrations dropping 5% from the 5,937 recorded in August.
