Hyderabad recorded 55,715 residential property registrations between January and September 2026. The total value of these transactions reached ₹39,910 crore, marking a 4 percent increase compared to the previous year.
However, registrations in September saw a decline. Only 5,620 units were registered that month, a 15 percent decrease year-on-year and a 5 percent drop month-on-month.
The transaction value also fell in September, totaling ₹4,487 crore. This represents a 7 percent decrease year-on-year and a 2 percent decline month-on-month.
Despite the overall subdued activity, homes priced above ₹1 crore accounted for 56 percent of September's transaction value. This is an increase from 54 percent a year earlier, highlighting the growing contribution of premium housing.
Shishir Baijal, International Partner, Chairman, and Managing Director of Knight Frank India, stated that Hyderabad's residential market maintained stable registration volumes during January-September 2026. He added that the value of registered transactions increased by 4 percent year-on-year.
