The team's announcement says Jhabakh is the first driver in the championship's 38-year history to win the overall title in a two-wheel-drive car, and that he and co-driver Musa Sherif are the first all-Indian pair to win it. He also won the 2026 APRC4 title. He drove a Ford Fiesta Rally4 overseas and a Hyundai i20 N Line in the Indian round.

Jhabakh is a two-time national circuit racing champion who moved to rallying in 2024. "This championship is a start, not a finish," he said.
