The expansion work for the Hyderabad-Vijayawada National Highway (NH-65) is scheduled to begin in January. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari announced this on Tuesday, bringing good news to the people of both Telugu states.

Union Minister Gadkari has directed the preparation of a new DPR for the Srisailam Elevated Corridor. This corridor will extend from Mannanur to Patalaganga, connecting key areas within Telangana.

Proposals for a Greenfield Expressway, connecting Hyderabad Future City to Amaravati Port, have also received approval. This will further ease travel between the two cities in the future.

Gadkari also approved the construction of a unique cable bridge proposed near Somasila on the Krishna River. This will enhance transportation facilities in the region.

Union Minister Gadkari revealed these details during a meeting with Telangana ministers Komatireddy Venkat Reddy and Jupally Krishna Rao on Tuesday. These projects are expected to significantly boost connectivity between the two states.

These projects will not only improve transportation facilities between Andhra Pradesh and Telangana but also stimulate economic activities. This will reduce travel time for people and contribute to commerce.
