The Hyderabad-Vijayawada National Highway experienced extensive vehicle congestion on Saturday night. This situation arose as people traveled to their hometowns for the Dasara and Bathukamma festivals.

Vehicles came to a standstill near Choutuppal. This was due to ongoing road widening and flyover construction work in the area.

The congestion stretched for approximately 3 kilometers leading up to Choutuppal. Drivers faced considerable delays.

Commuters reported that it took about 45 minutes to clear the Choutuppal stretch. This extended travel time caused inconvenience for many.
