The Free Trade Agreement (FTA) between India and New Zealand officially came into effect on Tuesday. This agreement strengthens trade relations between the two nations.

With the implementation of the FTA, all tariffs on products exported from India to New Zealand have been eliminated. This change benefits Indian exporters.

Products such as leather goods, footwear, apparel, and textiles will now enter New Zealand with zero import duties. This provides an advantage for businesses in these sectors.

The agreement enhances the competitiveness of Indian products in the New Zealand market. It also aims to strengthen bilateral trade between India and New Zealand.
