The International Day of Older Persons was celebrated grandly at the Karimnagar Collectorate auditorium. The event was organized under the aegis of the Department of Women, Children, Differently Abled, and Senior Citizens Welfare.

On this occasion, Additional Collector Ashwini Tanaji Wakade stated that older persons are guides who play a crucial role in building a new society with their life experiences. She emphasized that it is everyone's responsibility to respect them.

Aging is a natural phase in everyone's life, and society should respect it rather than view it as a weakness, the Additional Collector urged, as reported by HMTV.

She further added that the advice and blessings of elders are invaluable in our culture. Their experiences serve as guidance for generations.

By respecting older persons and utilizing their experiences, societies in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh can become stronger. Their wisdom can be highly beneficial to the younger generation.
