The Invest Telangana Global Summit 2026 will be held at Bharat Future City near Hyderabad on December 7, 8 and 9. A curtain-raiser was held in New Delhi, attended by Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy and Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal.

The targets

  • Under the 'Telangana Rising 2047' vision: a $1 trillion economy by 2034 and $3 trillion by 2047.
  • Telangana aims for a 10% share of India's targeted $30 trillion economy in 2047.
  • Revanth said three of seven proposed high-speed rail corridors would link Hyderabad with Chennai, Bengaluru and Pune, and that the Centre is backing new airports at Warangal and Adilabad.

What was said

"My competition for Hyderabad is not Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai or Bengaluru," Revanth told investors, adding, "I will act as the guardian of your investments." Goyal said Hyderabad leads in global capability centres, AI and life sciences, and urged more focus on aerospace, defence and quantum computing. He cited GI-tagged Tandur red gram exported to Australia and Nizamabad turmeric as examples.

No investment deals or amounts were announced at the curtain-raiser. The summit is about five weeks away.
