Jangaon Railway Station in Telangana has been fully modernized to offer improved facilities for railway passengers. The development work was completed as part of the Central Government's Amrit Bharat Railway Station scheme.
The project, which involved an investment of approximately Rs. 25 crore, is now ready for public use. Jangaon station serves as a key hub on the Secunderabad-Kazipet railway line.
The station now boasts modern amenities, appealing architectural designs, and enhanced passenger conveniences, giving it a fresh look. The station premises, which previously had a simple appearance, now feature spacious entryways.
The main entrance of the station has been made more attractive. Special murals depicting local culture and spiritual heritage have been created on the building walls.
The architectural style, which resembles temple gopurams, stands out as a unique feature of the station. These upgrades are designed to appeal to passengers.
