Jio Platforms' anchor book received a strong response on October 19, ahead of its Initial Public Offering (IPO). Pre-qualified institutional investors submitted bids that were 30 times higher than the shares allocated.
As part of the IPO, shares worth Rs. 8,110 crore were set aside for anchor investors, allowing them to book their interest. This allocation attracted considerable demand from investors.
Bidding worth approximately Rs. 2.5 lakh crore was recorded. This amount far exceeded the value of the shares initially made available for the anchor book.
Institutional investors showed confidence in Jio Platforms through their participation. This robust response created a positive environment leading up to the full IPO.
