Task Force police have confiscated illegal explosive materials in Somaram village, Saidapur mandal, Karimnagar district. During the operation, authorities seized 475 gelatin sticks, 3000 meters of wire, and two compressor tractors.
Acting on credible intelligence, Task Force personnel conducted searches in an area on the outskirts of Somaram village where agricultural well digging was taking place. The illicit explosives were discovered during these inspections.
Police have taken Vemula Bhumaiah, 45, from Sriramulapalle village in Ramadugu mandal, into custody in connection with the incident. He faces charges for the illegal possession of explosive substances.
