A road accident occurred near Batasingaram, within the limits of the Abdullapurmet police station in Hyderabad. An RTC bus from Khammam depot collided with a lorry that was parked on the side of the road.
The incident took place on October 19 in the morning. The Telangana RTC bus was en route from Khammam to Hyderabad when the accident happened.
As a result of the bus hitting the lorry, 15 passengers sustained injuries. The injured individuals were transported to a hospital for medical treatment.
Local residents and police immediately initiated rescue operations following the accident. They provided prompt medical assistance to those who were hurt.
Abdullapurmet police have registered a case regarding the incident and are currently investigating. They are looking into the causes of the accident.
Traffic was disrupted in the area where the accident occurred. Police managed to regulate the flow of traffic.
